In 2020, I led the creation of a promotional video for the Ewha Womans University Newspaper, addressing declining readership during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project’s main goal was to boost article engagement among the university community despite campus closure. I developed the campaign slogan “Don't distance yourself from Ewha Weekly” and crafted a script that showcased diverse voices including students, alumni, and newspaper staff. The video highlighted various digital platforms to promote online engagement with the newspaper beyond print articles.Leveraging my two-year experience as a former staff member, I authentically portrayed the dedication of student journalists. The production incorporated current visual trends like Instagram stories and Zoom calls to reflect the digital landscape.Despite challenges in coordinating a large cast, including professionals from major media companies, the project successfully promoted the newspaper's digital presence. This experience demonstrated my skills in strategic communication, video production, and adaptability to current trends and organizational needs.
